Welcome
May 2008
We just finished our first workshop at the new location; First Baptist Church of Alexandria and it was awesome. The site is fantastic, easy to find, lots of parking and lots of room in the workshop area. We encourage you to join us at our new location.
We will have five workshops this year; Peru Fundraiser (March 8th), Signed English to ASL How?? (April 19th), Voicing Workshop in June, ASL Review in August and workshop in November (TBD). Our biggest event each year is our Annual Silent Weekend, October 4 & 5, 2008. We will be at Camp Happyland in Richardsville, VA (just west of Fredericksburg).
NVSLC will also be volunteering again with the Lions Van and have an info table for Celebrate Communication on May 10th at George Mason University. Go to www.nvrc.org for additional info. We will also have an info table at Kings Dominion's Deaf Awareness day on May 31st.
Become a Member of NVSLC, or renew your Membership, to enjoy full access to all the pages, resources and information available here.
